Rio Grande River Fishing
Copal Tree Lodge is perched on the Rio Grande River, providing the perfect location for a casual river fishing trip. Our tour begins at the Lodge, as we spend the next three hours winding our way down the river—home of tarpon, snook, snapper, jacks, and other indigenous species. Deep in the jungle, you may catch glimpses of howler monkey troops and stealthy crocodiles. Families and semi-serious conventional anglers will find our river fishing trips ideal for connecting with nature—exploring the Belizean jungle under the watchful eye of our local captain. For more experienced and dedicated anglers, we recommend a fly fishing trip. Available in half day and full day tours.
