how do I get to Copal Tree Lodge?
After landing at Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport, the most convenient way to reach our eco-lodge is by a commuter flight to Punta Gorda airstrip. We highly recommend our All-Inclusive Package, which includes roundtrip road transfers from the Punta Gorda airstrip.
Opt for our VIP Arrival Experience for a smooth transition, where a Muy'Ono Resorts airport concierge ensures a stress-free connection to your commuter flight.

ARE YOU CLOSE TO THE BEACH?
Copal Tree Lodge is just a 30-minute boat ride from the nearest pristine white-sand beach and a quick 15-minute drive to the charming seaside town of Punta Gorda. If you opt for our guided snorkeling or fishing trips, you'll have the opportunity to explore beautiful cayes and sandy flats. The river, cayes, and shores of the Port of Honduras feature intact mangroves, providing a vital habitat for diverse marine life.
DO I NEED A PASSPORT TO TRAVEL TO BELIZE?
US Travelers: Passports are required for all travelers, including children. Passports must be valid for the intended length of stay. Visas are not required.
If traveling from another country, please refer to your government for specific entry and exit requirements.
do I need travel insurance?
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to safeguard you and your family against any unexpected events before and during your trip. WHAT SHOULD I PACK?
In addition to lightweight clothing, swimsuits, sun hats, sunglasses, and sandals, don’t forget to pack some light long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and closed-toed shoes for hiking around the property and protecting against bug bites. While Copal Tree Lodge has a laid-back atmosphere, some guests enjoy dressing up a bit for evening cocktails and dinner. Our Fly and Gift Shop offers a selection of natural and DEET repellents, fishing flies, select clothing and locally made gifts.
What is the currency in Belize?
Copal Tree Lodge accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. The local currency is the Belize dollar (BZD). US dollars are accepted at most locations in Belize. If you need to exchange currency, our front desk staff will gladly assist you. The exchange rate is $1 USD to $2 BZD.
Gratuities & Service Charge
For your convenience, a 10% service charge is automatically added to all food and beverage purchases. If you'd like to leave an additional gratuity for the entire team or a specific staff member, you can do so using our 'Love Box' at the front desk, leave it in your room, or hand it directly to a team member. You also have the option to add gratuity to your bill at check-out.

We are committed to accommodating any dietary requirements; simply inform us of your needs. With an abundance of fresh local fruits, vegetables, and corn tortillas, enjoying a vegetarian, gluten-free, or dairy-free diet is effortless at Copal Tree Lodge.
DO YOU HAVE INTERNET?
We are pleased to offer complimentary wireless connectivity throughout the lodge, including in the suites and on the canopy. No passwords are required for access. Please note that the signal is strongest in the lobby.
Do I need to bring an adapter?
Belize uses 110-volt, 60-cycle electricity, the same as in North America. Guests from North America will not need a converter or adapter. Guests from other regions may require an adapter.
Is there a spa or gym at the lodge?
Certainly! Indulge in relaxation at our Jungle Spa, offering mud wraps, sugar scrubs, massages, body and facial treatments, and nail services.
Our Jungle Gym is equipped with rogue free weights, dumbbells, boxes, rings, an elliptical, a rowing machine, and a stationary bike. Yoga mats, straps, exercise balls, and resistance bands are also available upon request.

What is copal Tree’s Pet Policy?
Copal Tree Lodge welcomes service animals (not pets) with a cleaning fee of $50 USD + tax per day, applicable to service animals only.
