Testimonials

Paradise in the Jungle
I can’t say enough great things about this resort. All of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Some of the guides have been working there for 10+ years and are so knowledgeable about the farm and property. The Resort really allows you to immerse yourself in the local culture, which was one of our favorite parts.

Amazing jungle experience!
This was our 4th trip to Belize – we love it! – but first to the Punta Gorda area. The Copal Tree Lodge was fantastic. Wonderful service, stunning location, fantastic food and very comfortable accommodations. You really did feel like living in the jungle – awakened by the sound of howler monkeys. The birds were also amazing.

Ahhhhhmazing
If you want to “get away” and still “have it all” this place is for you. Our family adored our time here. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Accommodations are exceptional- with nightly turn down service- and the food. I mean the food! Bartenders Tim and Ainslei know how to mix it up and are much fun!

A MUST STAY!
My husband and I found this place last year in June by mistake. We just finished staying 4 nights, this year and couldn’t have been more happy with our choice! We opted for two tour, and they were both amazing. In fact, we’re already booked for next year and bringing our daughter and son-in-law with us♡

Spa Devine
Went for the spa treatment and it was everything I needed and more. Stayed for lunch. The spinach dip and plantain chips I recommend, but if you’re on your own ask for a small portion. I followed it up with a wrap. The chicken was good. A bit too heavy on the raisins. The service is impeccable.

Definitely Stay Here
The sum of the parts makes [Copal Tree Lodge] one of those special places. Per se, it isn’t a resort, you’re meant to get out and about – a host of activities including fishing, snorkeling with the Chief, birding, hiking, learning how to make chocolate. This is a great venue for families with many activities for children.

Exceeded my expectations
[Copal Tree Lodge]’s family of locals who graciously greet, serve, accompany and teach us about the area are the backbone of bringing farm to table, the roots of the lodge’s ideologies. From the soil to the serene environment tucked away in a tropical jungle, everyone and everything was incredible. Put [Copal Tree Lodge] on your bucket list.

Great family experience
We had a wonderful stay with our children (5yo and 8yo) We especially enjoyed the farm tour, tasting all of the wonderful produce grown on site. We also had a lot of fun with the chocolate and tortilla making classes. The staff organized everything perfectly, the on and off-site activities, domestic transportation, etc. Dining experience was superb.

An Amazing Week In The Jungle
While trout fishing in Montana, Corey Street (our guide) started talking about this awesome place called [Copal Tree Lodge] and bone fishing in Belize. Corey got me so excited I asked my husband to get us a reservation quickly before all the slots were taken for the season. Corey’s description was “right on”, our experience was awesome.

Amazing Jungle Lodge in Beautiful Belize
We spent a week here. It is remote and takes some extra effort to get to but is well worth it. There are 4 [signature canopy] suites high above the rest of the resort in the jungle canopy, with their own infinity pool and wrap around private balconies. Our welcoming committee was a troupe of howler monkeys!
